Blue Star is a Shaman. She works in trance and works as a medium.
She is also a teacher of Native <\/span><\/span><\/span>American Indian spirituality.<\/span><\/span><\/span> She studied music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and <\/span><\/span><\/span>got her<\/span><\/span><\/span> M<\/span><\/span><\/span>asters in 1978. She<\/span><\/span><\/span> was involved in theater projects and composed music for animation <\/span><\/span><\/span>film.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

In 1995<\/span><\/span><\/span> Blue Star<\/span><\/span><\/span> was adopted into the S<\/span><\/span><\/span>usquehannock Tribe by the late<\/span><\/span><\/span> Chief Piercing Eyes <\/span><\/span><\/span>Penn. <\/span><\/span><\/span>She<\/span><\/span><\/span> was<\/span><\/span><\/span> also<\/span><\/span><\/span> adopted in 1994<\/span><\/span><\/span> into the Cherokee<\/span><\/span><\/span> FL in<\/span><\/span><\/span> the tribe of<\/span><\/span><\/span> Clan mother<\/span><\/span><\/span> Spirit Catcher. <\/span><\/span><\/span>T<\/span><\/span><\/span>he late Grandfather Sky of the<\/span><\/span><\/span> Shoshone<\/span><\/span><\/span>e adopted this tribe<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span> As a child<\/span><\/span><\/span> Blue Star<\/span><\/span><\/span> always wanted <\/span><\/span><\/span>to know about the truth of things and this<\/span><\/span><\/span> quest<\/span><\/span><\/span> became the path of her life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


In 1984<\/span><\/span><\/span> she learned to<\/span><\/span><\/span> play<\/span><\/span><\/span> the didgeridoo as an instrument of healing and<\/span><\/span><\/span> worked with<\/span><\/span><\/span> SOUND in <\/span><\/span><\/span>Dreamtime Healing<\/span><\/span><\/span> Concerts<\/span><\/span><\/span> since<\/span><\/span><\/span> 1991<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
In her work as a<\/span><\/span><\/span> transpersonal<\/span><\/span><\/span> healer she also uses Tibetan <\/span><\/span><\/span>bowls,<\/span><\/span><\/span> shaman\u2019s drum,<\/span><\/span><\/span> rattles,<\/span><\/span><\/span> and her<\/span><\/span><\/span> own<\/span><\/span><\/span> voice.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Blue Star is<\/span><\/span><\/span> \u201ca person of knowledge\u201d, the traditional title for a<\/span><\/span><\/span> S<\/span><\/span><\/span>haman.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the dreaming<\/span> realities<\/span> that were induced by the sounds of the didgeridoo she discovered that she <\/span>could channel energy into her piano play. This is how the<\/span> Dreamtime Piano Music<\/span>\u00a9<\/span> started<\/span>.<\/span> Using <\/span>the sounds of the piano as an instrument for trance journeys.<\/span>

Among<\/span><\/span><\/span>st<\/span><\/span><\/span> her<\/span><\/span><\/span> studies were psychology,<\/span><\/span><\/span> dream therapy<\/span><\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span><\/span> gestalt therapy<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Dowsing,<\/span><\/span><\/span> and<\/span><\/span><\/span> the art of <\/span><\/span><\/span>seeing ley<\/span><\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span><\/span>lines.<\/span><\/span><\/span> In 2008 she was initiated as International<\/span><\/span><\/span> Clan mother<\/span><\/span><\/span> of the Pan American Indian <\/span><\/span><\/span>Association<\/span><\/span><\/span> FL<\/span><\/span><\/span> and<\/span><\/span><\/span> became<\/span><\/span><\/span> an ordained<\/span><\/span><\/span> minister of the Native Indian church<\/span><\/span><\/span> of<\/span><\/span><\/span> the Pan American <\/span><\/span><\/span>Indian Association.<\/span><\/span><\/span> In 2010 she<\/span><\/span><\/span> was asked<\/span><\/span><\/span> as<\/span><\/span><\/span> I<\/span><\/span><\/span>nternational<\/span><\/span><\/span> Clan mother<\/span><\/span><\/span> for<\/span><\/span><\/span> the United Indian <\/span><\/span><\/span>Nation<\/span><\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span> (Georgia)<\/span><\/span><\/span> November 2011<\/span><\/span><\/span> during<\/span><\/span><\/span> a shamanic tour through<\/span><\/span><\/span>out<\/span><\/span><\/span> Australia<\/span><\/span><\/span>, s<\/span><\/span><\/span>he guided the <\/span><\/span><\/span>trance dance and de<\/span><\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span><\/span>animation cou<\/span><\/span><\/span>r<\/span><\/span><\/span>se<\/span><\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span><\/span> in Sydney<\/span><\/span><\/span>.
